Many books between the two of them.

Writing is definitely a superpower! (Getting published is another one, too.) Good judge of character is DEFINITELY an important skill in world domination. I mean, you have to decide who's dead enough to be an absolutely trusted lieutenant. It depends, really, on how you define evil; I mean, some writers are too wickedly talented. *stares pointedly at you*

True! I used to think that I'd ace school writing because hey, how hard can it be? Turns out that essay writing is very different from storytelling -- and both are very difficult superpowers to master.Alyssa Carlierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10995554896786109238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981664243653036268.post-72369258387667931702015-04-10T21:09:21.547+08:002015-04-10T21:09:21.547+08:00Hm....this book sounds interesting. They are fantastic! :)) So I'll add this book to my TBR pile (it's getting dangerously high....)

Superpowers? Uh, writing maybe? I like writing and according to my mum I've "spent most of my teenage years scribbling in notebooks", so something has to come from that right? And I've been published for my poetry...does that count?

Let's see, what else......oh! According to this girl I know I'm a "good judge of character" so maybe I could use this in my plot for world domination *evil hyena laugh*

MWHAAA! *coughs before disappearing in clouds of smoke*Elle https://www.blogger.com/profile/07518290032673211900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981664243653036268.post-27070719426389836492015-04-10T18:19:43.442+08:002015-04-10T18:19:43.442+08:00I literally JUST FINISHED THIS BOOK. ha! Talk about impeccable timing, right?! ;-) I would like to think my super power is being utterly fabulous. *commences fabulous hair flick* Or, well, maybe writing? HOPEFULLY. I would like to use my powers for evil, but bah, if it turns out good, I won't glare too long. I used to do creative writing in school, but I feel like it was always with an angle towards the way I wanted to go (storytelling instead of, say, essays) so i'm lucky for that. ^_^CG @ Paper Furyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14954615708675952085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981664243653036268.post-69583794244951638372015-04-09T21:12:04.670+08:002015-04-09T21:12:04.670+08:00I agree. I mean, there are two sequels and I haven't felt the need to pick them up just yet, but it was funny and like Alyssa said, still good.

Freedom is definitely nice to have in school—I mean, at least for me, I really enjoyed having the freedom to take classes like forensic science, philosophy, and video game design and even though it was public school, it was still an awesome opportunity for me to learn. :)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16797485444727976121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981664243653036268.post-44197992638899600982015-04-09T17:52:09.861+08:002015-04-09T17:52:09.861+08:00It's quite good, I think, although I didn'...It's quite good, I think, although I didn't LOVE LOVE it. Ooh, I never thought of this post in terms of different kinds of schooling systems, but definitely! Freedom was an important factor when I chose to study IB instead of other curricula :)Alyssa Carlierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10995554896786109238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981664243653036268.post-71672817248388975002015-04-09T17:51:17.075+08:002015-04-09T17:51:17.075+08:00You're welcome, and thank *you* for guest post...You're welcome, and thank *you* for guest posting!Alyssa Carlierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10995554896786109238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981664243653036268.post-72443045650429787702015-04-09T16:34:41.261+08:002015-04-09T16:34:41.261+08:00I don't like missing out :P Clearly Grave Merc...I don't like missing out :P Clearly Grave Mercy should be on my TBR.

But yes. Often what we are set up to do is not what we really want to do. I guess that is when home schooling has an advantage, in terms of education. Great post!
